"We Used To Be."
  by .Candice.Renee.

Powder - Metal Fingers

Nah I don't want ya word ups and agreed and finger pointing on this one.
Just read and shut it.
Thanks.

We used to be
more than just poets
admiring works pointing each other
to boost up each others worth
working angles weighting works
on sidelines looking in like
so how much ya words really worth?

We used to be
more than just
online haters playing mass debaters
more than just masturbaters
masterfully baiting the opposite
sex to textually font with sexually
convincing if you think my poetry
freaky.. .wait till you have sex with me!

We used to be heroes
role models modeling souls
soulfully submitting selves
worrying nothing of those who
judge our prose because some
this art is suppose to heal
& with every write...
we got closer to
closing old wounds

Sometimes I ask what happen...
but then again..
who else I have to blame but myself?
