laying down in water
raging memories put to rest

pain fades
leaving solitude,
blessed serenity and bliss

waves wash
make clean and right

losing myself...
slowly
purified.

becoming one...
one with the tide.

no distinguishing
between it and i

redemption sings
and her voice,
i like

a song so
sweet and light

more complex than i thought
yet so simple inside

struggle finally over
harmony presides.

legacy bequeathed
now redeemed and right

that once crimson
now pure and white

fading away
no goodbye

finally...

in death
peace i find.
