RSS (Really Simple Syndication)
RSS
is an XML feed that simplifies content syndication. Simply put: Instead of you going to websites for content, the content gets sent to you. This will allow you to subscribe to elements of the GS Poetry website that you would like to receive on an ongoing basis. Currently we offer RSS feeds for the 100 Most Recent Poems and the Top 100 Highest Rated Poems. Click here to read our RSS Terms and Disclaimer.
How To Subscribe
There are several ways to describe depending on your browser and resources.
- Internet Explorer 7/ Firefox Users: You can subscribe to our feeds if you are using these browsers. If you use Internet Explorer 7, click on the RSS feed link & IE will prompt you to add the feed to your Favorites. If you use Firefox, you can use the built-in RSS feature called Live Bookmark. On any page, click the RSS icon in the Status Bar and select the format you prefer.
- RSS Readers: Get an RSS reader and install it on your computer. Go to any of our feeds on the RSS Index page and right-click, or if you’re a Mac user control-click, on the orange XML button. Select "copy link," "copy shortcut," or "copy target address." Launch your RSS reader and input the URL that you just copied into the program. Some good, free readers are Feedreader, Omea Reader and Google's Reader.
- Web-based Readers: Below are sone providers that allow you to read RSS feeds on the web.
