he's been there through it all.
my ups.
my downs.
and times i thought i was cool.
man did i ever look like a fool.
he's saw me laugh.
he's seen me cry.
he saw me through days
both dark and bright.
he's always wanted me to do whats right.
he done what david (my supposed to be father)
couldn't and wouldn't do.
who woulda thought he'd step up
to the plate and take over a life
another man helped make.
he done this when i was a baby about 8months
and david tried to get in contact not once.
