Fear was my opponent how
I held back who I was

And shake off the needies from my trees

And accept my blessings come in seasons
No longer trying to find reason
Learning from my past mistakes' teachings
Reaching the masses
And yelling my status
And tuning out the negativity
Knowing what I want is all that matters
So let the chatter fade
And let the dues be paid
And let the horrors that I've seen be laid to rest

I survived the wreckage somehow

And made the vow
