I love everything about this write. First of all, the conversational tone of this entire write was a very nice touch, but more than that, the dialect chosen... just the term "poeting"... Very nice write. I'm loving your versatility.

That's exactly what an abusive man's afraid of - confronting a man. They love the power they have over a woman who's maybe not physically equivalent to them. The poetry itself, very well done. But, the message. I'm loving the message in this write. Love the presentation as well.

May I just add the fact that you're preaching to the choir in this write?!? lol... The way this began, hurts a lot. It sounds like you're pouring a lot of love into this man, and he's giving nothing in return. Just reading the first verse... it's like... where's the man worthy of these love writes? Where's the good in him? I'm seeing your love for him, but where's his love for you? We women have a tendency to hold tight to the ghost of love long passed... hope that's not what I'm reading here.

Falling in love with a man who's standoffish with you (at best) is hell on earth. Believe me, I know. Sometimes, the truth is in the actions. Other times, men aren't really comfortable showing their true feelings. Time tells all secrets... so, the lover in me wants to say give him time. But only you walk in your shoes. Learn the man, know the man, and choose with your head. Hearts have a tendency to lie.
