"Lush XXX"
  by alastor

In the eyes of thick amber the drunkenness drips profusely entrailed
Above the surf the drunkenness is a wave
sloshing against the shore of naked bodies
Foaming on flesh
The drunken bodies are waving with fluidity
Lymphatic as the lurid lyric pining against the amorous harp
One who dines on lobes of persuasion
A coated layer lies above the current
Migrant & corroborated
as all the minds reprieve the same hazy dream
The eyes seek thru twisted shapes
as the visionary peers thru translucent cultures
Lunging thru swelling rings of “reality”
He is keeper of the key
Beholder of the lathered tongue & empty bottle
( The Jade Interpreter )
His spine is slouched
His speech slurred the transcendentalist’s word
He who is truly master of his domain at lucidity’s incandescent end
Welcome you O grandeur chug & wanton glee
The age of cheer has granted firmament & fervor for thee

you entranced me with me- the images you created were so vivid- indeed he is truly master lol i loved this...the tinge of humour and yet a very carefree humour. I pictured an old inn, early victorian...not a rundown one but a old one, a favourite one at that with a man drunk, sitting there, reciting poetry in his drunken slurs *chuckles* "Welcome you O grandeur chug & wanton glee/The age of cheer has granted firmament & fervor for thee" bravo!
