The pain shouldn't be all that's on your mind
Enlighment is also on your side
Your worth more than you'll ever know
The pain inside should give you the courage to know its so
A push you dont need
Your writing has done it indeed
The courage to let your expression be shown
To let others view what your words are worth

The hood has made you strong
But dont let it be all that you were taught

Through my words you'll get past the pain
Brothers and sisters we all are here
And poetry makes us part of a family
Your words show the beauty you have inside
So stand up tall and let it shine......
For your blood isn't plain, nor its pain
It flows like us poetry in our veins
A pearl you'll have in time
