Dear Mr. White Man
What did we ever do to you to make y'all hate us
I thought we was all equal why y'all segregatin us
What the color of your skin make y'all superior
So you came up with Whites are masters and Blacks are niggas
So you think you above us and we aren't nothin
If you think that then let me tell you somethin
You look at us and then you want to judge us
Well look what y'all started look what you made us
You say y'all don't get why we call each other niggas
Probably wouldn't know the word if y'all never gave it to us
Y'all think you know pain but y'all don't really know what it is
Taking kids away from their parents and taking parents from their kids
What you know about seeing your child being killed in front of your eyes
And you can't do nothing about it but sit watch and cry
To you it's just another nigga but to them it's their child
They brought them in this world to live not for you to take them out
Because you have a whip and a gun we have to do every thing you say
Every second of every minute every hour of every day
Work out in the field with no food and no pay
Only because the color of our skin on our face
Thought we didn't deserve to live you thought we was a disgrace
And you didn't think one of us was going to stand up and say
I have a dream I have a dream that one day
This nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its greed
Did think we was going to stand up and say let freedom ring
Didn't think nobody was going to speak up like Dr. Martin Luther King
But it just wasn't him we all had a dream
A dream to be without slavery a dream to be free
A dream where we all get along a dream we all live in peace
But y'all didn't see like that y'all thought we could never be equal
So whatever y'all learn or discover y'all didn't tell our people
Knew how to read and write for years before we even learn it
Tried to keep it a secret and killed any black who tried and learn it
I wonder if we knew it the same time y'all knew
Would today our black children would be doing better in schools
Some of y'all white people are born into respect power and money
Why most us blacks got to go out here and earn it
Y'all own these big business and we don't own a damn thang
If we do I bet at the end contract you will see one of your names
I see y’all hold your purses and wallets whenever y’all see us so call niggas
Hell I think we should steal from y’all cause y’all stole away our freedom
Who the hell gave y'all power to governor our country
And to put an unknown man to the US citizens to watch over our country
Or like y'all say it to protect and serve our country
How the hell he going to protect us and he don't even know us personally
That's like putting your whole life in a stranger’s hand
But we suppose to look up to him because he's the President
He's our leader he’s going to show us wrong from right
There has been 43 presidents none black you think that’s right
You got US soldiers overseas losing their life
Losing it because you decide you want a fight
Every single day and every single night
But fight who I don’t know even know what the Iraqi an uniforms looks like
Nobody knows cause we never seen one
So if there is no war bring home people’s daughters and sons
But I’m done I really don’t have no more to say
Except we are all the same at the end of the day
We are all citizens we all are just people
I hope you read this
Sincerely,Your so call Nigga
