Into The Blue

coasting along aimlessly
in a direction without
an planned destination

with no real thought on where
I'm going or what dangers I'll be facing
I'm just traveling...

seeing the landscape through observant eyes
allowing the enrichment
of the passing scenery
to delve deep into my mind

fusing ever so miraculously
with my sponge-like memory
fabricating astonishing serenity
completely surrounding my vicinity

soothing calm aura
playing down my apprehension
I'm ready...
set to take on this journey of an unknown dimension

gliding graciously
upon winds like leaves
falling off trees in the fall

with unregulated reservations
I steadfastly press on...
forward into the blue

wondering when when I get there
will my adventure be through?
