Wow....someone who knows and understands what true hip hop was all about. I love this write.

actually, there are two aspects to this, with the first haiku, the purpose of that one was to illustrate that it's way too easy to chronicle all the issue on hip-hop w/ the south from, bad lyricists, etc. i think the main issue is why is this the only genre that's concerned w/ being a legend before proving their worth, one of the untold reasons why hip-hop is faltering is the voice was taken out of the music. and until someone steps up on a major, not independent label (nas tried to do it, but...

hmmm i honestly can't say i agree with this. As a true hip hop advocate from ny i see two sides u could to this...u could kinda see it like the south (financially only in terms of sales tho) kept hip hop alive. But on the other hand i could not completely disagree with someone who says that in terms of the quality the south slowly turned hip hop into something it wasnt meant 2 be. I do like a few rap acts from the south t.i. luda and outcast are the ones that come to mind but other than that in...
