Broken Happiness

So beautiful yet she doesn't really smile
Its something she hasn't done in a while
If you take the time to see and read
Between the lines of the eyes of her brow
You'll realize that true happiness isn't found
Listen to her heart which barely makes a sound
Its jagged, rough around the edges damage and torn
Used, abuse, shattered, she's broken
Way more than just a women scorn
If you don't pay close attention you'll never notice
She does smile at times but its not real
Her pain runs so deep but she keeps it concealed
Her tears pour like water falls tho she hides them so well
She is such a beautiful angel who's soul is going thru hell
What's left of her heart has turned as cold as ice is
She is a women who has made many sacrifices
Once was a girl who tried to please the world
But now have grown to a women looking out for self
Tryna do what she gotta do for her and no one else
Its a lesson on the road of life in which she learned
After realizing she's made more than a few bad turns
The mistakes that she's made can not be erase
She's writing her own life story in blood and ink
An untold story of her hearts pain and strife
These are the chronicles of her broken life
As she looks back she believes things aint turn out right
Family, friends, love and her life
Just wasn't what she'd thought or hoped it be like
She feels so alone out here on her own
In a world so cruel and cold
At times it all seems like so much to bare
I kno that in life all things don't seem fare
Things don't always go her way
So before she lays her head at night
She prays for better days
She's always had to fight wit a burden on her back
She just can't seem to make up for the things that she feels she lacks
She's wanting something so bad
Something which she feels she'll never have
Thought of having it makes her glad
And at the same time it makes her sad
She's hated for things in which others believe
Yet they know nothing of the pain she conceives
No body really knows all the trouble that she's seen
Or know that all she really wants out of life is to just be happy
