this pause is the very sanity of my soul
this pause is where hopes unfold and
the heat of dreams melt away the cold
this is where i can leap to the sun, rub on it's rays
and flirt with the heavens
this is where daddy picks me up, looks me in the eyes
and cries tears of joy; only an existence of separation could bring
this is where I make mommy proud; this is where unsaid emotions
yell at the top of their lungs
this is where I am content for once..fully loving the elements that shape
my being..
It's where my words become my actions which transform into my
unicorn that takes me high into the air; inhaling earth...
Inhaling life...connecting with God
It's where a breath feels like an eternity of appreciation
And laughter heals souls full of despair and feeds villages of
the forgotten people
This is where I learn to cry and live with the fact that
it's okay to spear a tear; I'll never run out
This is where it's okay to trust; people love like Mother Nature
Full of protection and anti-bitterness
I am a martyr of the wind
Dying for its force to sweep me off my feet
It's where time is foreign
And love is inevitable
It's where self-truth knows not how to lie
I digest myself and release worry...
